Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilbert Johnsson got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Haparanda FF's Alberigo Costantino got control of the ball when Herman Stenkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Rosendahl in the 4th minute of the match. Sören Sundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Bennet. Alingsås IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Ingvar Rosendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haparanda FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Rosendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Haparanda FF's Sven-Olof Asklöv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Bennet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Alingsås IFK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mårten Eriksson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Rosendahl in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Bennet saved Alingsås IFK from getting behind. Haparanda FF's Sixten Högberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Haparanda FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Alebäck to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Rosendahl in the 18th minute of play forced Alingsås IFK's goalkeeper Ivan Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Alingsås IFK defense, Ingvar Rosendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Bennet. The Alingsås IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Bennet should have stopped the shot. Alberigo Costantino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Dalberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Dalberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Alingsås IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Haparanda FF:s goal. Thanks to some nice moves Herman Stenkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Alberigo Costantino however easily saved by the left post. Ivan Bennet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Rosendahl's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Mårten Berggren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberigo Costantino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Rosendahl made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mårten Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Herman Stenkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Costantino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mårten Berggren fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alingsås IFK's protests and gave Mårten Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Haparanda FF booed when Alingsås IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes in the game Börje Thidén after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Ivan Bennet. A very good opportunity. Ivan Bennet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Rosendahl in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Haparanda FF's zone, Gilbert Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberigo Costantino came out of the goal and Gilbert Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haparanda FF's Sören Sundström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivan Bennet but with some difficulty. Ingvar Rosendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Bennet having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Sixten Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haparanda FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Högberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Ingvar Rosendahl took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ivan Bennet to make any attempt to save it. After 75 played minutes Alingsås IFK got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Eriksson. Ivan Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Arvidsson in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Asklöv got free with Ivan Bennet in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. At last the ball reached Sixten Högberg at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Alingsås IFK. 1-5. After some careless play in the Haparanda FF defense, Mårten Eriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberigo Costantino. The Haparanda FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberigo Costantino should have stopped the shot. Ingvar Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Rosendahl in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Bennet saved Alingsås IFK from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Haparanda FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alingsås IFK.
