Martin Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Kollberg charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Kollberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kvidinge's Bengt Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Qvarnström in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Bengt Qvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes Kvidinge got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Deckbergh. When Herbert Deckbergh fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvidinge's protests and gave Herbert Deckbergh a yellow card for diving instead. Bengt Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Lundin in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kvidinge's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Lundin came free, but Bengt Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Martin Lundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt Ahlquist. Kvidinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Lundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Frank Haglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Skålberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Martin Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt Qvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Ahlquist having to interfere. The supporters of Nås booed when Kvidinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Deckbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Martin Lundin made the kick off in the second half. Gösta Sikström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Skålberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Bengt Qvarnström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nås fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Adam Hjelm hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes of play, Nås's Bengt Qvarnström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Ahlquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nils Kollberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gösta Sikström struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Niclas Skålberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvidinge. 80 minutes into the match, Nås's Martin Lundin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Ahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Nås booed when Kvidinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Sundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nås supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nås would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
