Oskar Almstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Böcklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Einar Nyman made a precise shot to the right of Lars Berglund. Murjek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lars Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pontus Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lars Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovland. 21 minutes into the game, Fabian Ljungberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murjek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kovland the free kick. Fabian Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Einar Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Berglund having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Murjek's Freddie Nordgren got a free kick in the 27th minute. Kovland's Einar Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Kovland's Einar Nyman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Berglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Stig Falkrans's late challenge caught a Murjek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Falkrans helped the player get up and apologised. Stig Falkrans hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Murjek's Harald Gråberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of August Böcklund. That made the score 1-2 after 48 minutes of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
August Böcklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Gråberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Harald Gråberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. August Böcklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Murjek's Isak Axelsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Lars Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Fredriksson in the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Einar Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Nyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Pontus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Murjek defense, Pontus Fredriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Berglund. The Murjek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Berglund should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Murjek's goalkeeper Lars Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Einar Nyman. August Böcklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Almstedt in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Andy Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kovland's Stig Falkrans got a free kick in the 74th minute. The Kovland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Böcklund should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Ljungberg in the 81st minute of play forced Kovland's goalkeeper August Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Pontus Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Murjek's goalkeeper Lars Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Einar Nyman. If Einar Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kovland's Einar Nyman, in the 98th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Kovland. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
