Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ola Browald started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Linus Kruse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NY Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute Johannes Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Fredriksson in the 8th minute of play. If Ian Vinström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Ström having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Ian Vinström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vilhelm Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ian Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ödsmål's zone, Linus Kruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Sjöberg came out of the goal and Linus Kruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NY Rangers were furious when Algot Vinström was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of NY Rangers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ödsmål:s goal. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Ödsmål's Robert Törnkvist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vilhelm Ström. A collision led to Ödsmål getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Johannes Fredriksson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in NY Rangers's zone, Ian Vinström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Ström came out of the goal and Ian Vinström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilhelm Ström made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ian Vinström sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Vilhelm Ström managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Ödsmål's Ian Vinström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vilhelm Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Browald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ola Browald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Ström was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Browald in the 60th minute of play forced NY Rangers's goalkeeper Vilhelm Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Johannes Fredriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vilhelm Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Vinström in the 73rd minute of play forced NY Rangers's goalkeeper Vilhelm Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Wiklund kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ola Browald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vilhelm Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Browald in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Ström saved NY Rangers from getting behind. Vilhelm Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Browald in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Ola Browald notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of NY Rangers's Vilhelm Ström. Vilhelm Ström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Ian Vinström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Ödsmål were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NY Rangers for a fine match.
