The supporters of Hökåsen BK booed when Sundsvalls DFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Stenquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Hamnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Gerdberg having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Damien Rosas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hökåsen BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. David Stenquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dan Kellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars-Erik Gerdberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Rosas in the 32nd minute of play. Kenny Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Damien Rosas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Jerry Hamnberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Hamnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damien Rosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hökåsen BK's Jonas Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jerry Hamnberg came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Hökåsen BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Hamnberg couldn't finish the play. Dan Kellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Bållström, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gustaf Berg sped through Hökåsen BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Kellbom. Arvin Alén spun around in front of the goal 78 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hökåsen BK's goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Damien Rosas took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Lars-Erik Gerdberg to make any attempt to save it.
