The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nygård FK's Ömer Halisdemir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Bjursell in the 5th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Jim Vennerkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ömer Halisdemir, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Jim Vennerkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ömer Halisdemir. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Douglas Modig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Michael Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Douglas Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Simonsson during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonatan Simonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Max Bergstedt threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nygård FK's Douglas Modig quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tor Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nygård FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Afghan getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jim Vennerkvist hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Nygård FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Bjursell came free, but Ömer Halisdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 顾川然 took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ömer Halisdemir. Ömer Halisdemir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Nygård FK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Tor Blom hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Afghan's Jonny Bjursell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ömer Halisdemir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tor Blom struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Michael Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nygård FK. Ömer Halisdemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 顾川然, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Tor Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tor Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömer Halisdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Bjursell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Jim Vennerkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Afghan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 88 minutes into the game, Kubrat Gazenov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nygård FK's Douglas Modig quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 91 played minutes Nygård FK got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Fristedt. 96 minutes into the match, Nygård FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Vennerkvist came free, but Ömer Halisdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nygård FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Afghan.
