With an all-out effort, Månkarbo's Mattias Caspersson threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tage Burman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the match, Joakim Forssberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Månkarbo's Agne Fastesson. Agne Fastesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thomas Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Agne Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agne Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Melin in the 15th minute of play. When Håkan Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tanumshede FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Lindgren couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Andberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Månkarbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Andberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Forssberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Månkarbo's goalkeeper Agne Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Månkarbo got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Klint. Tanumshede FF's Joakim Forssberg got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingmar Melin took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agne Fastesson. Agne Fastesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mattias Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Klint, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Agne Fastesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingmar Melin went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joakim Forssberg to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ingmar Melin made a precise shot to the right of Agne Fastesson. Månkarbo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Ingmar Melin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingmar Melin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Agne Fastesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Månkarbo's Håkan Klint got a free kick in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Joakim Forssberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Agne Fastesson to make any attempt to save it. After 74 played minutes Tanumshede FF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Stenqvist. After 77 minutes of play, Tanumshede FF's Ingmar Melin made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agne Fastesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agne Fastesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jarl Ståhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ingmar Melin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Agne Fastesson, 0-7. When Jarl Ståhlberg fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Månkarbo's protests and gave Jarl Ståhlberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Månkarbo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jarl Ståhlberg hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Joakim Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanumshede FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Forssberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 98 minutes into the game, Joakim Forssberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agne Fastesson. Joakim Forssberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Tanumshede FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
