Slangarkurvan FC's George Gregersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Slangarkurvan FC from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Kvidinge FK's Evert Tönnberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Gregersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Paul Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvidinge FK and the Slangarkurvan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Kvidinge FK got a freekick which was hit by Paul Nyman. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 16th minute, when Kvidinge FK's Daniel Fagerberg after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with George Gregersson in Slangarkurvan FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After 24 played minutes Daniel Fagerberg rounded Slangarkurvan FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Bo-Erik Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Evert Tönnberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of George Gregersson. Slangarkurvan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Tönnberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Slangarkurvan FC's George Gregersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Slangarkurvan FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgny Hellgren was the one to do the kick off. When Kvidinge FK's Daniel Fagerberg in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slangarkurvan FC's goalie prevented a goal. George Gregersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Tönnberg in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Elliott Fernkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Gregersson skillfully saved the ball. Evert Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Fagerberg got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but George Gregersson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Daniel Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Daniel Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Gregersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Fagerberg in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Slangarkurvan FC defense, Evert Tönnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Gregersson. The Slangarkurvan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Gregersson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Kvidinge FK's Bo-Erik Melander got a free kick in the 76th minute. George Gregersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Tönnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80th play minutes Daniel Fagerberg shot 5-0, a short shot which went by George Gregersson and just under the crossbar into goal. Torgny Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Evert Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Kvidinge FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kvidinge FK's zone, Torgny Hellgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Knutsson came out of the goal and Torgny Hellgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kvidinge FK had played much better football throughout.
