Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AS Roma's Olof Jonasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harry Lundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Tham in the 4th minute. The Sec FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sec FK's Oscar Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Hjortsberg in the 13th minute of play. Oscar Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sec FK booed when AS Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Eric Tham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harry Lundström skillfully saved the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eric Tham made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Sec FK's Jan-Ove Blom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harry Lundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. AS Roma's Richard Brenner got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Sec FK got a freekick which was hit by Gert Botvidsson. When Bernt Termander fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
