Åre IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Kiempe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rillys Bodega's Bo Wenerdahl got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rillys Bodega's zone, Karl-Oskar Alebäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Ekeberg came out of the goal and Karl-Oskar Alebäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Rillys Bodega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Pålsson to maneuver through the defense. Åre IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
