In the 18th minute Robin Ödmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Ahlkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kennet Ahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 72 played minutes, Flug's Douglas Albäck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kennet Ahlkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flug reached it. Oliver Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Bure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Vilgot Lidberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flug's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Lidberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Becksvart Bois had won after a very even match.
