Rutger Tomasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Finnman's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Jörgen Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rutger Tomasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, AC Sebastian's goalkeeper Rutger Tomasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Axelsson. Rutger Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rutger Tomasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaf Finnman scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutger Tomasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Bernt Zander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Månsson. Rävlanda IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Zander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Tommy Nyqvist came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the AC Sebastian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Nyqvist couldn't finish the play. Jörgen Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gustaf Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustaf Finnman to make the kick off. Bernt Zander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Månsson having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Gustaf Finnman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Sebastian's Rutger Tomasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd match minute, AC Sebastian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Åström to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Rävlanda IFK's Algot Nordmark sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Tomasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rävlanda IFK's Jimmy Åberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Rävlanda IFK were the better team. Rävlanda IFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
