After taking down the ball on RSC Öjaby's corner Oskar Bergström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valter Lindell quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Eliodor Apăvăloaie lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Valter Lindell. Eliodor Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Lindell having to interfere. If Eliodor Apăvăloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes RSC Öjaby got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Kilar. After a defensive mix-up in Miata FC's zone, Eliodor Apăvăloaie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Lindell came out of the goal and Eliodor Apăvăloaie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Per Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliodor Apăvăloaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miata FC's Kristoffer Wallin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Miata FC's zone, Kryspin Kilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Lindell came out of the goal and Kryspin Kilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valter Lindell stood somewhat misplaced when Eliodor Apăvăloaie came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 39 minute. If Eliodor Apăvăloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Kryspin Kilar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miata FC's Valter Lindell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valter Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Apăvăloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliodor Apăvăloaie to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, RSC Öjaby's Eliodor Apăvăloaie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Lindell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jogaila Karoblis struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Valter Lindell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Öjaby. Valter Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Pilgren in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eliodor Apăvăloaie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valter Lindell was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Östen Pilgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valter Lindell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Lindell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the RSC Öjaby players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
