Stellan Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Hellström in the 28th minute of play. Petter Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Åhlberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Esarp IF's Gunnar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Kullander in the 51st minute of play. Kent Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kent Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gunnar Albom came out of the goal and Tomas Åhlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petter Kullander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gunnar Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Petter Kullander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
