Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Brego In Jellit FC from getting a goal against them. Södra Mellby IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joar Hansson in the 8th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Tim Berg to score against Hjalmar Abelsson in Brego In Jellit FC's goal. 1-0 after 8 minutes. Harry Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hjalmar Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hjalmar Abelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Gunnarsson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sven-Edvin Skytt kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Stefan Ahlroht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Lindgren having to interfere. Hjalmar Abelsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eric Holmberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Alfred Lönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eric Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brego In Jellit FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Eric Holmberg scored to the left of an out of position Hjalmar Abelsson, making the score, 5-0. A collision led to Brego In Jellit FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jörgen Alberg hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Brego In Jellit FC's goalkeeper Hjalmar Abelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Holmberg. Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Brego In Jellit FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Harry Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Södra Mellby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Gunnarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Abelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Holmberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Holmberg in the 52nd minute of play. If Eric Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Paul Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peder Fagrell kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Holmberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Brego In Jellit FC's goalkeeper Hjalmar Abelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Eric Holmberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brego In Jellit FC's Hjalmar Abelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hjalmar Abelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Lönn's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Eric Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södra Mellby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Holmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Peder Fagrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eric Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hjalmar Abelsson came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Södra Mellby IF's Harry Gunnarsson. But to his dismay, Harry Gunnarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. If Eric Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Södra Mellby IF had played much better football throughout.
