But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Skoglund couldn't finish the play. Bernt Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Örtendal in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Tore Kullgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes of play, Änglarna's Leif Danielsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernt Vall was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Änglarna's Herbert Pettersson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bernt Vall. 21 minutes in the game, Christian Matsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernt Vall having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kalix FC's Jan-Åke Skoglund got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Christian Matsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Nordmark lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Åke Skoglund in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Bergsten saved Änglarna from getting behind. Jan-Åke Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Kalix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Skoglund to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jan-Åke Skoglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalle Bergsten was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Bernt Vall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Ahlfors in the 46th minute. Kalix FC's Anders Kvick quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stor Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bertil Ahlfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernt Vall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Ahlfors ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the game, Änglarna's Christian Matsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernt Vall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After having played for 72 minutes, Jan-Åke Skoglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Skoglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalix FC's Bernt Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Matsson in the 74th minute of play. Bernt Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Matsson in the 75th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Skoglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Bergsten having to interfere. Bernt Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Ahlfors in the 82nd minute of play. If Christian Matsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leif Danielsson fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Änglarna's protests and gave Leif Danielsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kalix FC booed when Änglarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Änglarna booed when Kalix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jan-Åke Skoglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Änglarna had won after a very even match.
