Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ammarnäs IF's Jan-Ove Jernberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Ammarnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Kihlman. Hedemora's Rudolf Sjöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Åke Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lars-Erik Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Nilsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Ove Jernberg went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jan-Ove Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Nilsson having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Kasper Grubb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Jan-Ove Jernberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ammarnäs IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ammarnäs IF's Edvard Vinström got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Hedemora's Sigvard Hellsing in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ammarnäs IF's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Nilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Jernberg in the 41st minute of play. Åke Sigman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Nilsson having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Ammarnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Vinström to maneuver through the defense. The Hedemora players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ammarnäs IF were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Hellsing to make the kick off. Leif Granqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leif Granqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludvig Gulliksson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ammarnäs IF's zone, Nils-Åke Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Arhenius came out of the goal and Nils-Åke Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasper Grubb hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Jan-Ove Jernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ammarnäs IF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Henrik Stenberg hit a great ball. Lars-Erik Arhenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Hellsing in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Ammarnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Sigman to maneuver through the defense. Sigvard Hellsing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Arhenius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Chants of Ammarnäs IF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hedemora had held the ball for most of the match.
