Ulf Bratt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Dalström in the 45th minute. Lindesborg Bk's Ulf Bratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Bjursell in the 46th minute of play. If Alwin Spaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Ivarsson was the one to do the kick off. Greger Alberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwin Spaan in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Fakrej getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ingvar Bjursell hit a great ball. With a little luck, Fakrej's Greger Alberg got control of the ball when Per-Olof Boström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Lindesborg Bk booed when Fakrej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fakrej's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alwin Spaan 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Greger Alberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After a rather tough play, Fakrej's Hampus Skröder got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fakrej's Greger Alberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Fakrej from getting a goal against them. Per-Olof Boström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Greger Alberg made a huge save. Per-Olof Boström struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Greger Alberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindesborg Bk. Per-Olof Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Alberg having to interfere. When the match was over Lindesborg Bk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fakrej throughout the match.
