After having played for 10 minutes, Roger Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 36th minute, Paul Theissen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Coja. The goal made the score 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Theissen in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Coja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Hortlax booed when Blågula BollAtleter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Theissen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Coja having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Nilsson made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Paul Theissen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Coja was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 63 played minutes, Blågula BollAtleter's Tomas Biörling shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Coja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blågula BollAtleter reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Dărmănescu in the 76th minute of play forced Blågula BollAtleter's goalkeeper Tom Vandendriessche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Vandendriessche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isac Dărmănescu's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Theissen in the 86th minute of play forced Hortlax's goalkeeper Emanuel Coja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Karl Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hortlax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Paul Theissen made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Coja. Hortlax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
