Johannes Trulsson scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Mårtensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Metsberg's late challenge caught a Marieholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Metsberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes A2 IF got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Metsberg. Nils-Erik Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Jespersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Mårtensson made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Benjamin Metsberg sent off a good shot on target. Christian Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Glanselius in the 15th minute of the match. If Toader Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Bennet in the 18th minute of play forced A2 IF's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Alin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Bennet in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Erik Alin saved A2 IF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Glanselius in the 25th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Christian Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Erik Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Jespersson in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Drogba came free, but Christian Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Christer Haström put in a rough tackle. 40 minutes into the game, one of Marieholm:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marieholm:s Christian Mårtensson showed great skill when he stopped Göran Friberger:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Björn Jespersson was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Trulsson in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Mårtensson saved Marieholm from getting behind. 52 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Metsberg came free, but Christian Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Drogba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Christian Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Glanselius, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Glanselius in the 61st minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Christian Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Bennet kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Boris Glanselius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Mårtensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A2 IF made a substitution. Tobias Käller replaced Márió Vincze. 74 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Trulsson came free, but Christian Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Jespersson in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nils-Erik Alin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nils-Erik Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Söderberg in the 79th minute of play. Oscar Benet took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Mårtensson. Christian Mårtensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 86th minute, Oscar Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Emil Hansson in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Mårtensson saved Marieholm from getting behind. Björn Jespersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Alin having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Oscar Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Mårtensson. Marieholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A2 IF had played much better football throughout.
