Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenico Preda in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Mårtensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 20 minutes, Björn Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marieholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Jespersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Marieholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 26 in the game by Björn Jespersson from a close distance when the talented Keenan Pisarenko managed to make a qualified save. Jakobsgatan 01's players were relieved. The Marieholm fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Marieholm's Björn Jespersson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antonis Nikopolidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Björn Jespersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Keenan Pisarenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Preda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anders Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Preda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. Marieholm's Christian Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Nikopolidis in the 48th minute of play. Jakobsgatan 01's Sven-Åke Möller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christian Mårtensson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Christer Haström kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Marieholm got a freekick which was hit by Sture Söderberg. The supporters of Marieholm booed when Jakobsgatan 01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Jespersson in the 63rd minute of play forced Jakobsgatan 01's goalkeeper Keenan Pisarenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Preda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Christian Mårtensson made a huge save. When Marieholm's Anders Bennet in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jakobsgatan 01's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Björn Jespersson put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Keenan Pisarenko. In the 81stth minute of the game Björn Jespersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jakobsgatan 01's Keenan Pisarenko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Nikopolidis in the 84th minute of play forced Marieholm's goalkeeper Christian Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keenan Pisarenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute Anders Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keenan Pisarenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keenan Pisarenko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Bennet went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute, Björn Jespersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keenan Pisarenko was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Marieholm's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
