An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Lång in the 11th minute of play forced AFC Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Lars Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Elliot Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Högström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dan Njurenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Högström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, Alo Reiljan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars Blom. Alo Reiljan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Adrian Högström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Termander in the 41st minute of play. Adrian Högström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliot Termander's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elliot Termander was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Tigerstar's Emanuel Josefsson got a free kick in the 50th minute. With his leg Adrian Högström managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when AFC Eskilstuna's Elliot Termander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. AFC Eskilstuna were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FC Tigerstar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dennis Nordgren took the corner. Dennis Nordgren made a great header on AFC Eskilstuna's corner, it was just that FC Tigerstar's Adrian Högström managed to reach the ball for a save. AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Eliasson in the 58th minute of play. After 68 minutes AFC Eskilstuna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Lång who took care of the corner kick. John Näfver's late challenge caught a AFC Eskilstuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of FC Tigerstar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC Eskilstuna:s goal. FC Tigerstar:s Adrian Högström showed great skill when he stopped Dennis Nordgren:s penalty. Ture Valler's late challenge caught a FC Tigerstar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ture Valler helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes into the game, one of AFC Eskilstuna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Adrian Högström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lars Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 80th minute, one of AFC Eskilstuna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Eskilstuna. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Eskilstuna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
