Jan-Olof Odman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Patryk Pieknik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ekaryd FF's Karl-Axel Ålberg suffered a sprained foot after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Anton Coja fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resarö Maffian's protests and gave Anton Coja a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Resarö Maffian's Anton Coja got a free kick in the 6th minute. Patryk Pieknik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Västlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Jan-Olof Odman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekaryd FF's Patryk Pieknik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Resarö Maffian booed when Ekaryd FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patryk Pieknik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Olof Odman's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Edwin Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patryk Pieknik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Häger in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Nils-Åke Häger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Sjöö in the 40th minute. Patryk Pieknik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Odman in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Gunnar Sjöö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekaryd FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Sjöö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patryk Pieknik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Coja in the 46th minute of the match. Gunnar Sjöö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Karl-Oskar Gustavsson made a huge save. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Resarö Maffian's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarl Nordlander was slow to take the kick. During this time Ekaryd FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Oliver Fransson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Resarö Maffian's Karl-Oskar Gustavsson did a great save. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Olsson's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edwin Olsson in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Gustavsson saved Resarö Maffian from getting behind. In the 52nd minute Ekaryd FF were awarded a corner. Jarl Nordlander went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jarl Nordlander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Resarö Maffian's Karl-Oskar Gustavsson did a great save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Sjöö was the one to do the kick off. If Edwin Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ekaryd FF's Adrian Sörman got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Resarö Maffian getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Anton Västlund hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Ekaryd FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Resarö Maffian:s goal. Gunnar Sjöö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ola Rask kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Bergsten in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Jan-Olof Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Pieknik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Oskar Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Sjöö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Jan-Olof Odman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patryk Pieknik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 96th minute, Jan-Olof Odman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
