In the 45th minute Nils-Åke Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waddah Yumin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Resarö Maffian were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Nikita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lys Abalo took the corner. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Greger Mickelsson to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Resarö Maffian's Edward Forsell got a free kick in the 55th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Nikita's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Odman came free, but Waddah Yumin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Jan-Olof Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waddah Yumin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Olof Odman in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waddah Yumin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Odman lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Waddah Yumin. Waddah Yumin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Odman in the 87th minute of play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Greger Mickelsson sped through Resarö Maffian's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Oskar Gustavsson. Jan-Olof Odman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waddah Yumin having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Resarö Maffian walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
