After 33 played minutes Östra Frölunda got a freekick which was hit by Folke Wallman. Olof Dalman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Victor Siggesson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Robert Stenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Dalman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven Rolfsson. Östra Frölunda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
