Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Bäck in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin Jonsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Edvin Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Niklas Bäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richarlison de Andrade in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Henley Utd got a freekick which was hit by Elmer Hodžić. Thanks to some nice moves Michael Ahlberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Edvin Jonsson however easily saved by the left post. Henley Utd's Edvin Jonsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Henley Utd from getting a goal against them. Edvin Jonsson made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Michael Ahlberg sent off a good shot on target. Niklas Bäck kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Edvin Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thames Ironworks FC. 92 minutes into the match, Henley Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Säv came free, but Edvin Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thames Ironworks FC's Dick Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Bergsten in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
