Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasper Bivall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Pålsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. August Hjortberg made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Epifanio Urre sent off a good shot on target. If Epifanio Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Flamengo's August Hjortberg got control of the ball when Epifanio Urre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kasper Bivall might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilhelm Pålsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Bivall ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrik Kilström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vilhelm Pålsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Pålsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Bivall in the 19th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Råbi FF's August Hjortberg threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frank Gunnarsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 24 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Ekerot. In the 29th minute Kasper Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Pålsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Ornelas in the 34th minute of play forced Råbi FF's goalkeeper Vilhelm Pålsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flamengo's attentive Stig-Arne Ekerot managed to snatch the ball when Harry Hylander made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Bivall in the 40th minute of play forced Råbi FF's goalkeeper Vilhelm Pålsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Gunnarsson came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Råbi FF booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Ekerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Epifanio Urre made the kick off in the second half. August Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Urre in the 56th minute of play. August Hjortberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Urre's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Epifanio Urre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of August Hjortberg. Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Urre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Flamengo made a substitution. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Råbi FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Helander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Fredric Zander in the 98th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vilhelm Pålsson's left hand side. Råbi FF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
