Ove Orm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ludwig Hägg scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Orm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Elefanterna defense, Ludwig Hägg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Orm. The Elefanterna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Orm should have stopped the shot. After 13 minutes, Mahoma Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Glenn Gothenburg and the Elefanterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mahoma Lopez hit a great ball. Lennart Juhlin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Paraense in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Elefanterna were awarded a corner. Nilmar Paraense went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar Paraense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lennart Juhlin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ludwig Hägg took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Orm. Ove Orm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 23rd match minute, Saint Glenn Gothenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demesio Faxardo to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Nilmar Paraense from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Lennart Juhlin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 25th of the match, Egil Eagle tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lennart Juhlin got in the way and made a wonderful save. The corner ended in Nilmar Paraense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin did a great save. The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Saint Glenn Gothenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Erserman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, Elefanterna's Yngve Uggla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lennart Juhlin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elefanterna reached it. The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Saint Glenn Gothenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahoma Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Juhlin made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Nilmar Paraense sent off a good shot on target. Ludwig Hägg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Orm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Lennart Juhlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Glenn Gothenburg from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Egil Eagle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rikard Ripa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elefanterna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Ove Orm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Demesio Faxardo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Ove Orm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Elefanterna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saint Glenn Gothenburg were winning 0-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilmar Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Åkesson came free, but Lennart Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Hägg got free with Ove Orm in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludwig Hägg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ove Orm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Orm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ludwig Hägg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. Lennart Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tage Danielsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Ove Orm however easily saved by the left post. Elefanterna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tage Danielsson 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. In the 88th minute Ludwig Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Orm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Elefanterna got a corner. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nilmar Paraense ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elefanterna's Nilmar Paraense was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lennart Juhlin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Saint Glenn Gothenburg played a much better game than Elefanterna and deserved their victory. The Elefanterna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
