Holger Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Brogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th play minute Kurt Brogren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Holger Mogren. 1-0. Kurt Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Mogren having to interfere. After some careless play in the FcBosna No1 defense, Edgar Abersell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Mogren. The FcBosna No1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Mogren should have stopped the shot. Daniel Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz in the 17th minute of the match. FcBosna No1's Holger Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Abersell in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FcBosna No1's Holger Mogren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FcBosna No1 from getting a goal against them. The FcBosna No1 fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FcBosna No1's Ernst Vestlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Holger Mogren made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Edgar Abersell sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Mellbystrand IK defense, Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Alrot. The Mellbystrand IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Alrot should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Mattsson got free with Holger Mogren in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernst Vestlund to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Vestlund came free, but Daniel Alrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Edgar Abersell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Giliusson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The throw-in from Björn Ekström in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FcBosna No1's Bengt Pettersson. Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Alrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Vestlund came free, but Daniel Alrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
