The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hieronim Huratiak during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, MOC Tychy's Roch Zawacki got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roch Popowicz. In the 12th minute, Dariusz Ziombkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Miroslaw Dudkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Polonia Piła fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, KS Polonia Piła's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Urban came free, but Roch Popowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maciej Laba fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MOC Tychy's protests and gave Maciej Laba a yellow card for diving instead. Maciej Laba hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. MOC Tychy's Kurt Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Domala in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the MOC Tychy defense, Miroslaw Dudkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Åström. The MOC Tychy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Åström should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslaw Dudkowski in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Åström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kurt Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Ziombkowski in the 37th minute of play. If Emil Urban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslaw Dudkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, one of KS Polonia Piła:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Roch Popowicz, was totally fooled by MOC Tychy's Roch Zawacki, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dariusz Ziombkowski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, MOC Tychy's Artur Wietrzychowski got a free kick in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Miroslaw Dudkowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Kurt Åström however easily saved by the left post. 58 minutes into the game, Wasyl Damazki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurt Åström. Wasyl Damazki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. If Dariusz Ziombkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Åström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Dudkowski in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MOC Tychy's zone, Miroslaw Dudkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Åström came out of the goal and Miroslaw Dudkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Kurt Åström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th match minute, MOC Tychy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Laba to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Ziombkowski in the 72nd minute of play forced MOC Tychy's goalkeeper Kurt Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslaw Dudkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MOC Tychy's Kurt Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Ziombkowski in the 76th minute of play. Roch Popowicz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by MOC Tychy's Emil Urban. But to his dismay, Emil Urban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Urban during the 81st minute. Roch Popowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Zawacki in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, MOC Tychy's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Damazki came free, but Kurt Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes MOC Tychy got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Laba. Kurt Åström was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Dariusz Ziombkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dariusz Ziombkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 4-5. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind MOC Tychy's goalkeeper Kurt Åström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KS Polonia Piła had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
