Jedrzej Gniewek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Tolek Poniewaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Gniewek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Edmund Maciejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfa KS's Aureliusz Ankiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Alfa KS from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes, Ludomir Domin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfa KS and the Kulki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Ludomir Domin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jedrzej Gniewek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leszek Oborski's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jedrzej Gniewek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Oborski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Alfa KS were awarded a corner. After the first half Alfa KS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Leszek Oborski in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jedrzej Gniewek, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ludomir Domin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jedrzej Gniewek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
