The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tymoteusz Kempka came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SchopenhauerBoys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tymoteusz Kempka couldn't finish the play. Ruch Radzionków 's Arturo Brewer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Starogardzki in the 5th minute of play. Miromir Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Bendyk having to interfere. Ruch Radzionków 's Ekrem Berksoy got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miromir Gmoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Edmund Bendyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Gmoch didn't quite understand what happened when in the 19 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, SchopenhauerBoys's Szymon Piesciuk got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ruch Radzionków 's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Kempka came free, but Arturo Brewer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruch Radzionków 's Arturo Brewer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Starogardzki in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Juliusz Starogardzki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SchopenhauerBoys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ruch Radzionków 's zone, Juliusz Starogardzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Brewer came out of the goal and Juliusz Starogardzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Brewer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tymoteusz Kempka's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Tymoteusz Kempka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Wasyl Poremba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruch Radzionków 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SchopenhauerBoys the free kick. Wasyl Poremba hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tymoteusz Kempka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Brewer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Starogardzki in the 52nd minute of play. Tymoteusz Kempka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Brewer made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Tymoteusz Kempka sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Brewer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tymoteusz Kempka in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Ruch Radzionków 's Arturo Brewer got control of the ball when Juliusz Starogardzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of SchopenhauerBoys were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ruch Radzionków side.
