After 4 played minutes KS Górnik Zabrze got a freekick which was hit by Karol Lichucki. Fermin Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Katalonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Iwaszko to maneuver through the defense. Katalonia's Fermin Iliana got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Borys Pilarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Karol Lichucki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Górnik Zabrze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Lichucki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ziemowit Mentus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Piszczor having to interfere. If Fermin Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karol Lichucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jaroslaw Piszczor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, KS Górnik Zabrze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Okraszewski to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Fryderyk Odachowski shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for KS Górnik Zabrze's Emil Dulka to catch but Fryderyk Odachowski was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal.

Borys Frenzel charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Frenzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Zabrze's Borys Frenzel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jaroslaw Piszczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Mentus in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziemowit Mentus in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaroslaw Piszczor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonard Gardocki charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Gardocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KS Górnik Zabrze getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Leonard Gardocki hit a great ball. KS Górnik Zabrze's Emil Dulka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save KS Górnik Zabrze from getting a goal against them. Emil Dulka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Pilarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Iliana got free with Emil Dulka in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fermin Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Dulka having to interfere. Fermin Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emil Dulka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Dulka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Pilarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borys Pilarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Dulka having to interfere. Katalonia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
