In the 4th minute Pankracy Dziechciowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Fujarczuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Cezary Perkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Madryt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gansen SA the free kick. The supporters of Gansen SA booed when Real Madryt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Brzakala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Madryt were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
