In the 5th minute, Dariusz Zieba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Zieba in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Barna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Kasprzykowski in the 12th minute of play forced Piersno's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Ludwiczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Tobiasz Kasprzykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PopicWieliczka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Kasprzykowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludomir Puszynski in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jaroslaw Ludwiczak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mariusz Barna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Zieba's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Ludomir Puszynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PopicWieliczka booed when Piersno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Kajfasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobiasz Kasprzykowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaroslaw Ludwiczak having to make a save. Ludomir Puszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Ludwiczak having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Piersno's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Kasprzykowski came free, but Jaroslaw Ludwiczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ludomir Puszynski came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the PopicWieliczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Puszynski couldn't finish the play. Jaroslaw Ludwiczak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludomir Puszynski went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Witold Sienkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Tobiasz Kasprzykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Ludwiczak having to interfere. A hard shot 40 in the game by Ludomir Puszynski from a close distance when the talented Jaroslaw Ludwiczak managed to make a qualified save. Piersno's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Zieba in the 43rd minute of play forced PopicWieliczka's goalkeeper Mariusz Barna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobiasz Kasprzykowski to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Witold Sienkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piersno and the PopicWieliczka players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Piersno's Witold Sienkowski got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Tobiasz Kasprzykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Ludomir Puszynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piersno's Jaroslaw Ludwiczak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaroslaw Ludwiczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Kasprzykowski in the 63rd minute of play. Tobiasz Kasprzykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jaroslaw Ludwiczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slawomir Jarmulowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Piersno's zone, Ludomir Puszynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Ludwiczak came out of the goal and Ludomir Puszynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Ludomir Puszynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jaroslaw Ludwiczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roch Karpinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The PopicWieliczka fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when PopicWieliczka's Ludomir Puszynski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zula Lerych hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of PopicWieliczka booed when Piersno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Gieraltowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Tobiasz Kasprzykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Ludwiczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Kasprzykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Piersno's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Puszynski came free, but Jaroslaw Ludwiczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the PopicWieliczka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
