The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute of the match Miromir Madajczyk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zdzislaw Kostka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Witomir Gongola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milosz Brytan might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Lampa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milosz Brytan ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Wladyslaw Olchawa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFC Ajax Amsterdam's Roland Lampa. Roland Lampa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland Lampa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Milosz Brytan sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Iwan Makowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Kostka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Makowski struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Zdzislaw Kostka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Ajax Amsterdam.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radowit Witkowski was the one to do the kick off. When Wladyslaw Olchawa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Śródmiescie Wronki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wladyslaw Olchawa couldn't finish the play. When Lukasz Wos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Ajax Amsterdam's protests and gave Lukasz Wos a yellow card for diving instead. Lukasz Wos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Radowit Witkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Śródmiescie Wronki's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Witkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Lampa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Radowit Witkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Lampa. AFC Ajax Amsterdam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radowit Witkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
