The audience was convinced that Fryderyk Pysz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldemar Turak was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fryderyk Pysz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Turak saved BAŁTYK Gdynia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, BAŁTYK Gdynia's Marian Klucznik got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jurand Podwojski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of BAŁTYK Gdynia booed when Brzozowice SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Tomaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Brzozowice SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BAŁTYK Gdynia's goalkeeper Waldemar Turak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44thth minute of the game Fryderyk Pysz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAŁTYK Gdynia's Waldemar Turak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, BAŁTYK Gdynia's Marian Klucznik got a free kick in the 45th minute. Fryderyk Pysz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Turak having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Zyskowski in the 78th minute of play forced BAŁTYK Gdynia's goalkeeper Waldemar Turak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Fryderyk Pysz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAŁTYK Gdynia's Waldemar Turak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brzozowice SA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
