Pawel Motyl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Januszewski having to interfere. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gilbert Kiewra sped through Holzkathen SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michal Januszewski. Michal Januszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Kiewra's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Gaczyska's Gilbert Kiewra in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 32 minutes, Marek Karaszkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holzkathen SA and the Gaczyska players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marek Karaszkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Gaczyska got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Topolski. Pawel Motyl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Michal Januszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilbert Kiewra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Sylwester Ptaszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Holzkathen SA's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Kiewra came free, but Michal Januszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play Holzkathen SA's Marek Karaszkiewicz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilbert Kiewra was the one to do the kick off. Zbyszek Trochowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Michal Januszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Holzkathen SA's zone, Pawel Motyl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Januszewski came out of the goal and Pawel Motyl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Holzkathen SA's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Kiewra came free, but Michal Januszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Kiewra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Michal Januszewski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gilbert Kiewra in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michal Januszewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Pawel Motyl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaczyska's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pawel Motyl might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michal Januszewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pawel Motyl ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gaczyska's Gilbert Kiewra, in the 75th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gaczyska. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gilbert Kiewra sped through Holzkathen SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michal Januszewski. Gilbert Kiewras short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Michal Januszewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zenon Borcz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andrzej Osikowicz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gaczyska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Osikowicz couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Gaczyska could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Holzkathen SA throughout the match.
