After a rather tough play, KM Ruda Śląska's Marcin Trac got a free kick in the 7th minute. Bogumil Mindykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rybnik Killers's Boruc Rzegotka got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Bogumil Mindykowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Radomil Chmelyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Rybnik Killers defense, Wojciech Cetnar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klement Owsiak. The Rybnik Killers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klement Owsiak should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes KM Ruda Śląska got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Misiewicz. Wojciech Cetnar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Klement Owsiak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wieslaw Ziemba charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wieslaw Ziemba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Rybnik Killers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Ziemba to maneuver through the defense. Mieszko Bykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Klement Owsiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KM Ruda Śląska's zone, Boruc Rzegotka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomil Chmelyk came out of the goal and Boruc Rzegotka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, one of KM Ruda Śląska:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mieszko Bykowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Klement Owsiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michal Bronicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Mieszko Bykowski made the kick off in the second half. Radomil Chmelyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Mindykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Wojciech Cetnar managed to get in a good position for a shot. KM Ruda Śląska's supporters rose to their feet, but Wojciech Cetnar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klement Owsiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klement Owsiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Bykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Mieszko Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KM Ruda Śląska's Edgar Misiewicz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Radomil Chmelyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Mindykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomil Chmelyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Mindykowski in the 83rd minute of the match. Bogumil Mindykowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomil Chmelyk having to make a save. The Rybnik Killers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rybnik Killers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
