The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pawel Setara made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Borys Sedzikowski sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the game, Kazimierz Kapinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Van Dale United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Podemszczyzna SA the free kick. The supporters of Podemszczyzna SA booed when Van Dale United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Kapinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedykt Czajkowski took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beniamin Lanczak. Beniamin Lanczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Benedykt Czajkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Beniamin Lanczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Setara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Pietrasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Niedzwiecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Van Dale United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Podemszczyzna SA the free kick. Roch Kisiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Lanczak having to interfere. Ryszard Juszkowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beniamin Lanczak. Van Dale United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roch Kisiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Lanczak having to interfere. In the 45th minute Roch Kisiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Lanczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Jan Pietrasz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Van Dale United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Pietrasz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jan Pietrasz made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match Marek Bienienda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pawel Setara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Roch Kisiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Podemszczyzna SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Kisiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beniamin Lanczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Borys Sedzikowski sped through Podemszczyzna SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pawel Setara. In the 76th match minute, Podemszczyzna SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Kochanowicz to maneuver through the defense. Pawel Setara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Sedzikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jan Pietrasz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Pawel Setara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van Dale United. 87 minutes into the match, Benedykt Czajkowski notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Van Dale United's Beniamin Lanczak. Beniamin Lanczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borys Sedzikowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pawel Setara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Podemszczyzna SA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Van Dale United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
