Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lechia Gdańsk's Miromir Penc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wit Burufski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Niemojewski having to interfere. Radomir Niemojewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Burufski's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Lechia Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Burufski came free, but Radomir Niemojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Korneliusz Gajewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Wit Burufski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Radomir Niemojewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryszard Resel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomir Niemojewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wit Burufski in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomir Niemojewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wit Burufski kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes, Lechia Gdańsk's Korneliusz Gajewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Fudalej came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lechia Gdańsk reached it. When Miromir Penc came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Lechia Gdańsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Penc couldn't finish the play. Lechia Gdańsk's Radomir Niemojewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Burufski in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes Lechia Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Andrysiak. After a rather tough play, Dolistowo's Szymon Wachna got a free kick in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Witomir Ikalewicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Radomir Niemojewski however easily saved by the left post. After 43 minutes, Korneliusz Gajewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lechia Gdańsk and the Dolistowo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Korneliusz Gajewski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Ryszard Resel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Radomir Niemojewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wit Burufski made a kick off. Wlodzimierz Fudalej made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliks Szotek in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Lechia Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Burufski came free, but Radomir Niemojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Resel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Niemojewski having to make a save. Ryszard Resel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radomir Niemojewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Burufski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolistowo's Tolek Cytrynski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lechia Gdańsk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Resel in the 88th minute of play forced Lechia Gdańsk's goalkeeper Radomir Niemojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Niemojewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Burufski in the 89th minute of the match. Ryszard Resel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Radomir Niemojewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wit Burufski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
