An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Mazierski in the 56th minute of play forced Ostoja Pruszków's goalkeeper Gustaw Badanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Ostoja Pruszków's Wlodzimierz Nienajadlo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robert Latkiewicz.
