The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Chmelyk during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Winiarach SSA booed when Michowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Chmelyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lech Gejda fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winiarach SSA's protests and gave Lech Gejda a yellow card for diving instead. Roland Motowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Winiarach SSA's Roland Motowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Orlicki in the 16th minute of play. Roland Motowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Orlicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napoleon Orlicki struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Roland Motowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Michowice. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Zygmunt Tomaka took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zbyszek Brzonkala to make any attempt to save it. Eugeniusz Lisewski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Roland Motowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Sedzikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Ryszard Sedzikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Motowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Motowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Orlicki in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Winiarach SSA got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Pieprz. When Ryszard Sedzikowski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Michowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Sedzikowski couldn't finish the play. Napoleon Orlicki might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Motowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Napoleon Orlicki ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Napoleon Orlicki was the one to do the kick off. Michowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winiarach SSA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Michowice's Eugeniusz Lisewski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Tomaka in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszek Brzonkala saved Michowice from getting behind. If Ryszard Sedzikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th play minute Ryszard Sedzikowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roland Motowski. 1-2. 72 minutes into the match, Winiarach SSA's goalkeeper Roland Motowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Sedzikowski. If Napoleon Orlicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryszard Sedzikowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Motowski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Orlicki in the 91st minute of play forced Winiarach SSA's goalkeeper Roland Motowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Tomaka struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Zbyszek Brzonkala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winiarach SSA. Zbyszek Brzonkala came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Winiarach SSA's Zygmunt Tomaka. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Tomaka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
