Ulryk Siwy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Barnaba Hoffman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Varchmin's zone, Damazy Bugajski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Wieczorek came out of the goal and Damazy Bugajski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnaba Hoffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Siwy in the 6th minute of the match. Edward Adamowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulryk Siwy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Barnaba Hoffman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mierzecin SA's Barnaba Hoffman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mierzecin SA from getting a goal against them. Wincent Cipinski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Roch Kaczucha notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Varchmin's Miroslaw Wieczorek. Miroslaw Wieczorek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roch Kaczucha took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslaw Wieczorek. Miroslaw Wieczorek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 19 minutes, Roch Kaczucha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mierzecin SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Kaczucha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damazy Bugajski struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Miroslaw Wieczorek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mierzecin SA. Ulryk Siwy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Hoffman having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Varchmin's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Bugajski came free, but Miroslaw Wieczorek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mierzecin SA booed when Varchmin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Adamowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miroslaw Wieczorek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Kaczucha in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Varchmin getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Konstanty Koprowski hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ulryk Siwy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varchmin's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulryk Siwy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barnaba Hoffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Varchmin's Edward Adamowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulryk Siwy might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barnaba Hoffman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulryk Siwy ran back to his position shaking his head. Varchmin's Ulryk Siwy got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Adamowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Hoffman having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulryk Siwy couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Mierzecin SA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Varchmin side.
