An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Miarka in the 13th minute of play forced EKP Bełchatów's goalkeeper Radomil Ledochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biernatowo SA's goalkeeper Tadeusz Mondrowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Biernatowo SA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Norbert Olszewski hit a great ball. Gustaw Okropny charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaw Okropny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave EKP Bełchatów a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wlodzimierz Wyrzykowski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Biernatowo SA's Tadeusz Mondrowski. 0-1. Tadeusz Mondrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaw Osowski in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Mondrowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 47 minutes, Barnaba Gregorczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biernatowo SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnaba Gregorczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Osowski was the one to do the kick off. If Gustaw Osowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Lodowy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Ledochowski having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Zachariasz Lesiecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EKP Bełchatów and the Biernatowo SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, one of EKP Bełchatów:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EKP Bełchatów. The referee gave Biernatowo SA a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. Arkadiusz Peczkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
