The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbigniew Falkiewicz got free with Zbigniew Zakrzewski in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zbigniew Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brunki's Gustaw Jaszynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Juszkowski in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Bernard Debowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Debowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbigniew Zakrzewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Falkiewicz in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Nowodziel's Edward Juszkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaw Jaszynski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bogdan Walczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Jaszynski having to interfere. Bogdan Walczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nowodziel's Bogdan Walczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Edward Juszkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nowodziel's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Juszkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Jaszynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nowodziel's goalkeeper Zbigniew Zakrzewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Nowodziel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Zachemski to maneuver through the defense. Gustaw Jaszynski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Walczyk went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zbigniew Zakrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Debowski in the 57th minute of play. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
