A collision led to Michrówek SA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bartlomiej Czapski hit a great ball. When Lucjan Rutkowski came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Hutnik Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Rutkowski couldn't finish the play. Miroslaw Jaszyna's late challenge caught a Hutnik Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miroslaw Jaszyna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Michrówek SA's Miroslaw Jaszyna got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Eugeniusz Mlekodaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hutnik Warszawa's zone, Teobald Milan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Babicki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Michrówek SA's Walery Babicki to fire away a dangerous shot which Zbyszek Starogardzki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartlomiej Czapski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Michrówek SA's Teobald Milan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zbyszek Starogardzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobald Milan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
