Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ciosowa SA's Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sphaera FC's Ksawery Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski in the 5th minute of play. Borys Chludzinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ksawery Oleszak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borys Chludzinski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Oleszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sphaera FC's goalkeeper Ksawery Oleszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Chludzinski. Ksawery Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski in the 12th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Feliks Soliwoda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sphaera FC and the Ciosowa SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sphaera FC's Feliks Soliwoda got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Artur Molski fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sphaera FC's protests and gave Artur Molski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Artur Molski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Skaradoski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Molski went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cezary Mudry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sphaera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Mudry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Piotr Skaradoski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, Walery Smolarek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciosowa SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sphaera FC the free kick. The supporters of Sphaera FC booed when Ciosowa SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Smolarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ksawery Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski in the 28th minute of play. Feliks Soliwoda was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 29th match minute, Sphaera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Soliwoda to maneuver through the defense. Ksawery Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wlodzimierz Czerniejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Mudry hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Borys Chludzinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ksawery Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ciosowa SA booed when Sphaera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Zajonc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Molski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
