The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Herbert Rakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ZASPA Gdańsk fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when ZASPA Gdańsk's Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olgierd Augustyniak's late challenge caught a Lechia Karwiny II's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olgierd Augustyniak helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes ZASPA Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Augustyniak. Lechia Karwiny II's Pawel Bejger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Piglowski in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lechia Karwiny II's zone, Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Bejger came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludomir Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Bejger having to interfere. Ludomir Piglowski struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Pawel Bejger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZASPA Gdańsk. In the 39th minute Ludomir Piglowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Bejger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Basaik kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Pawel Bejger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes Lechia Karwiny II's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Raflewski who took care of the corner kick.

The wind increased when Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka made the kick off in the second half. Feliks Wojno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliks Wojno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Waldemar Nakonieczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Lechia Karwiny II's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka came free, but Pawel Bejger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Piglowski got free with Pawel Bejger in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lechia Karwiny II's Feliks Wojno got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match Mieszko Waselewicz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar Nakonieczny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Herbert Wojtkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechia Karwiny II's protests and gave Herbert Wojtkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Lechia Karwiny II's Pawel Bejger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Kaszubik in the 90th minute of play. Ludomir Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Bejger having to interfere. Pawel Bejger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Rekawiczka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Feliks Wojno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Lechia Karwiny II fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ZASPA Gdańsk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
