Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ksawery Gaszynski in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dawid Czysty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes into the match, Ogonki's Jerzy Penc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dawid Czysty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, KKS Stal Kęty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Radzyminski to maneuver through the defense. Dawid Czysty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Gaszynski in the 10th minute. If Jerzy Penc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ksawery Gaszynski succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 17thth minute of the game Kacper Tarka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ogonki's Robert Spychalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ogonki's Robert Spychalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Koczara in the 18th minute of play. When Kacper Tarka came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the KKS Stal Kęty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kacper Tarka couldn't finish the play. Dawid Czysty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Penc, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Stal Kęty's zone, Ksawery Gaszynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dawid Czysty came out of the goal and Ksawery Gaszynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ksawery Gaszynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Czysty having to interfere. Jakub Raflewski hit a great ball. The supporters of KKS Stal Kęty booed when Ogonki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. After recieving a nice pass, KKS Stal Kęty's Grzegorz Moczkiewicz tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerzy Penc made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Koczara in the 57th minute of play forced Ogonki's goalkeeper Robert Spychalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, KKS Stal Kęty's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Penc came free, but Dawid Czysty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ludomil Koczara managed to get in a good position for a shot. KKS Stal Kęty's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Koczara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. KKS Stal Kęty's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
